Data collection and analysis:  Gather and analyze data to create accurate maps, plans, and reports, ensuring the precision of allmeasurements and calculations.Research: Examine historical land records, survey records, and property titles to understand the context and history of the land. Boundary establishment:  Establish and verify official land and property lines, often involving fieldwork and problem-solving. Collaboration:  Work closely with engineers, architects, construction teams, and other professionals to provide accurate land information for projects.Reporting and presentation: Prepare and present detailed maps, legal descriptions, and reports to clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Legal compliance:  Ensure that all survey work complies with relevant legal and regulatory standards, and provide expert testimony in legal disputes if necessary.Project management: Manage survey teams and project timelines, especially for senior or lead surveyors.
