Role: Senior Java Developer / Lead Engineer Kafka & Messaging SystemsWork Mode: HybridExperience8 years in Java-based backend development with solid experience in Kafka and Messaging Queues (MQ)Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with deep expertise in Apache Kafka and Messaging Systems (IBM MQ / ActiveMQ / RabbitMQ) to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and resilient distributed systems. The candidate will play a key role in architecture, development, and mentoring junior engineers.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services using Java (Java 8)
- Build and manage event-driven and message-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
- Develop and support messaging solutions using MQ systems (IBM MQ / ActiveMQ / RabbitMQ)
- Implement Kafka producers, consumers, streams, and handle partitioning, offsets, and rebalancing
- Ensure message reliability, fault tolerance, idempotency, and exactly-once/at-least-once delivery
- Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput
- Design RESTful APIs and integrate with downstream/upstream systems
- Handle transaction management, concurrency, multithreading, and memory optimization
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on system design and technical decisions
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
