This role acts as a critical bridge between business, architecture, and engineering teams, embedding security early in the lifecycle, advising on secure architectures, and assuring that cyber risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated to an acceptable level across global enterprise solutions.\n\n## What you will do\n\n
* Act as the security interface between technical teams and the business, translating cyber security principles into practical, implementable design requirements.\n
* Define and assure secure architectures for SD\u2011WAN services in line with organisational security policies, regulatory expectations, and industry standards.\n
* Perform security posture assessments, threat modelling, and risk assessments across network and cloud-based solutions.\n
* Provide security design and architecture guidance to solution architects, engineers, and delivery teams, including agile programmes.\n
* Review and assess SD\u2011WAN and SASE vendor solutions (such as Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler) for security efficacy, scalability, and alignment with Vodafone standards.\n
* Ensure secure connectivity and integration with public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.\n
* Scope, coordinate, and support penetration testing and assurance activities prior to product and service launch.\n
* Collaborate closely with risk, compliance, ethical hacking, security operations, and corporate security teams to deliver end\u2011to\u2011end assurance.\n
* Coach and support security champions within delivery teams, promoting a proactive and collaborative security culture.\n
* Contribute to evolving Secure by Design standards and best practices, positioning security as a business enabler rather than a blocker.\n\n\n\n## Who you are\n\n
* A seasoned Secure by Design professional with strong experience across SD\u2011WAN, enterprise networking, and cloud security.\n
* Confident in engaging with both technical specialists and non\u2011technical stakeholders, clearly articulating risk, impact, and mitigation options.\n
* Experienced in firewalls, network segmentation, encryption, VPNs, zero trust architectures, and SASE frameworks.\n
* Comfortable influencing design decisions early in the lifecycle and challenging solutions constructively to improve security outcomes.\n
