About Position: We are looking for a Senior System Administrator with 5 to 8 years of experience to manage end-to-end operations, stability, and continuous improvement of cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Linux and Windows administration, AWS cloud operations, proactive monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, and the ability to independently handle complex incidents. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cloud, network, security, and application teams while mentoring junior engineers and driving operational excellence.

- Independently manage day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments
- Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux and Windows Server environments, including installations, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
- Proactively monitor infrastructure health using monitoring tools and dashboards, analyze trends, and help prevent incidents before they occur
- Handle L2/L3 incidents within defined SLAs and provide technical leadership during complex or high-severity issues
- Lead or actively participate in major incident calls, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and proper RCA documentation
- Provide advanced support for infrastructure services including operating systems, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms
- Perform in-depth network troubleshooting involving DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers
- Support AWS cloud environments with provisioning, monitoring, cost awareness, and issue resolution
- Manage incidents, changes, and problems using ITSM tools, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices
- Plan and execute patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities with minimal service disruption
- Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and availability reporting, and share actionable insights with stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, review their work, and support skill development within the team
- Drive operational improvements through automation, scripting, and process optimization
- Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, SOPs, and runbooks
- Collaborate closely with cloud, network, security, and application teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery while maintaining compliance with operational standards Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5 to 8 years of extensive experience in system administration across Linux and/or Windows environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Operations, including service monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support
- Proven experience in infrastructure monitoring, alert tuning, capacity tracking, and availability management
- Ability to create, review, and improve SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation
- Solid experience with ITSM tools and ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management
- Practical exposure to automation and scripting using Shell, PowerShell, or Python to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
- Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills across infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments
- Practical understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers
- Experience working in a fast-paced 247 production support environment with rotational after-hours or weekend support
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills, including customer and stakeholder interactions; AWS certification is preferred Benefits:
