Pizza Chef – Job Description

Location: Pune

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has experience preparing and baking pizzas, understands dough fermentation and handling, and can consistently deliver high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and standards. Stretch, top, and bake pizzas with consistency and attention to detail. Operate and maintain pizza ovens safely and efficiently. Monitor dough fermentation, proofing, and storage. Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station. Manage inventory and communicate stock requirements. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times. Assist with menu development and specials when required. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.

Requirements Previous experience as a Pizza Chef, Commis Chef, or similar kitchen role. Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and pizza-making techniques. Experience working with wood-fired, deck, or stone ovens is an advantage. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods. Strong attention to detail and consistency. Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
