At the heart of our work is a commitment to preserving and evolving textile artistry for a sustainable future.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, onsite position for a creatively driven and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our growing handloom fashion label. This role is ideal for someone passionate about textiles, craftsmanship, and contemporary Indian fashion, with a strong appreciation for artisanal processes and thoughtful design.You will work closely on developing collections that balance modern silhouettes with the richness of handwoven textiles and traditional techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Product Development- Develop seasonal apparel concepts aligned with the brand aesthetic- Create sketches, tech packs, measurements, and construction details- Work with handloom and artisanal textiles including Jamdani, woven cottons, and natural fabrics- Coordinate sampling, fittings, and design refinements- Research trends, silhouettes, colours, and textile techniques relevant to the brand- Collaborate closely with artisans, weavers, and production partners to translate concepts into finished garmentsOperations & Coordination
- Maintain transparent communication between design and production teams- Troubleshoot production challenges while balancing design intent and feasibility- Support costings, vendor sourcing, and process optimisation- Ensure timely execution across collections and replenishment stylesRequirements- 0-2 years of experience in fashion design- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and silhouette development- Experience working with handloom textiles and artisanal craft techniques is strongly preferred- Understanding of textile behaviour, weaving variations, and the nuances of handcrafted fabrics- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and design documentation- Strong organisational and communication skills- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines- Passion for craftsmanship, textiles, and thoughtful fashionBonus Skills- Experience with Indian textile traditions and craft clusters- Knowledge of pattern making and fit development- Familiarity with sustainable or small-batch production systemsWhat We’re Looking For- Someone with a strong design sensibility and a deep appreciation for handloom textiles — a designer who understands both the creative and technical aspects of working with handcrafted fabrics and can translate them into refined, contemporary garments.Interested candidates please email your resume and portfolio to and cc .
