Job Description & Summary

As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support. Your role focuses on understanding client needs, implementing software solutions, and providing training and support to ensure seamless integration and utilisation of business applications.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute automation scripts using the Tosca tool.
- Identify reusable components, develop global and application‑specific functions, and implement driver scripts.
- Follow guidelines and processes, perform dry runs of scripts, fix script issues, and set up test data.
- Review scripts with peers and coordinate with application and business subject‑matter experts.
- Log defects, review and assign them, retest, and close defects.
- Understand the application’s functional requirements and identify testable functionalities.
- Interact with business users, vendor SMEs, and customer SMEs to gather test artifacts across the entire testing lifecycle.
- Develop and document the automation test strategy, test plan, and framework.
- Develop and execute test scripts and manage defects.

Mandatory Skill Sets

- 4+ years of experience using the Tosca tool and SAP testing.
- At least 2 years of direct experience with Tosca.
- Proficiency in developing automation scripts, reusable components, and global functions.
- Experience with application‑specific functions and driver scripts.

Preferred Skill Sets

- Certified in Tosca.
- Strong background in test automation strategies and framework development.

B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.E./M.Tech./MBA/PGDM (regular full‑time mode; no course extensions due to backlogs)
