Description
- We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Account Managers – Field Sales to drive new business acquisition and market expansion for Datamate’s Healthcare IT solutions in Kerala.
- This role is designed for highly motivated sales professionals with strong field-sales capabilities, hospital networking experience, and a proven track record of closing enterprise or institutional deals. The ideal candidate should possess the confidence to engage with hospital leadership teams including Medical Directors, Administrators, CXOs, and decision-makers.
- The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating qualified leads, managing consultative sales cycles, and achieving assigned revenue targets through disciplined execution of CRM-driven sales processes. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, healthcare groups, and healthcare institutions.
- Drive direct field-sales activities to acquire new customers and expand Datamate’s footprint in assigned territories.
- Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders including hospital administrators, Medical Directors, IT Heads, and procurement teams.
- Conduct product presentations, solution demonstrations, and consultative discussions with prospective customers.
- Develop territory plans and execute targeted account penetration strategies.
- Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with organizational revenue goals. Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
- Manage the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and update sales activities, opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions in Zoho CRM.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and weekly activity reports.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, implementation, and leadership teams during proposal development and solution positioning.
- Participate in negotiations, commercial discussions, and contract closures. Customer Engagement & Market Intelligence
- Develop strong market intelligence regarding competitor activities, pricing, customer pain points, and industry trends.
- Represent Datamate professionally during client meetings, conferences, healthcare events, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. Core Competencies:
- Native Malayalam language proficiency.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to close direct enterprise or institutional sales deals.
- Existing professional network and relationships within hospitals and healthcare institutions in assigned territories.
- Willingness to travel extensively (4–5 days per week) across assigned regions.
- Must own a personal vehicle.
- Robust process orientation with prior CRM usage experience. Education
- Any Degree. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field will be given a preference.
- MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage. Experience
- 3–6 years of proven field-sales experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Healthcare IT / Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
- Medical Devices / Healthcare Equipment
- Institutional Pharma Sales
- Enterprise Software / SaaS Sales Pay: ₹40,000.00
