A hospital security officer is responsible for maintaining safety and security within the hospital premises. They protect patients, staff, visitors, hospital property, and equipment by monitoring activities and responding to emergencies or security issues.

Key Responsibilities Monitor hospital entrances, exits, and restricted areas Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors Patrol hospital premises regularly Respond to emergencies, disturbances, or security alarms Control visitor access and check identification when necessary Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry Assist during medical emergencies, fire incidents, or evacuations Prepare incident and daily activity reports Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems Coordinate with hospital administration and local police if required
