Modules: Payroll, Absence Management, Time Tracking Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise across Workday Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking. The role involves leading end-to-end configuration, enhancement, and support of integrated payroll processes, ensuring accurate time capture, absence calculations, and compliant payroll execution. The consultant will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and technical teams to deliver seamless workforce and payroll operations.Key Responsibilities Workday Payroll Configure and support Workday Payroll processing, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and payroll inputs. Manage payroll cycles, pay groups, payroll calendars, and period close activities. Perform payroll reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution.Support payroll audits, compliance requirements, and statutory reporting. Handle payroll integrations with third-party vendors and finance systems. Workday Absence Management Configure absence plans, eligibility rules, accruals, and time-off policies. Support leave administration including sick leave, vacation, parental leave, and statutory leave policies.Ensure accurate absence-to-payroll integration for correct payroll processing. Troubleshoot absence-related issues and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Workday Time Tracking Configure time tracking rules, work schedules, time entry codes, and overtime rules. Support integration between Time Tracking and Payroll for accurate pay calculation.Manage approval workflows for time entries and corrections. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies regarding working hours. General Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions. Provide functional expertise and recommend best practices.Prepare functional design documentation and configuration guides. Provide production support and resolve issues within SLA timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and Integration teams. Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge sharing. Ensure seamless integration between Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll modules.Help support testing activities for end user Validate payroll results based on time and absence inputs. Support Workday release updates and regression testing. Required Skills&Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of Workday Payroll experience with strong exposure to Absence and Time Tracking. Hands-on experience in: Workday Payroll configuration and processing Workday Absence Management Workday Time TrackingStrong understanding of payroll calculations and time-to-payroll integration. Experience in payroll reconciliation and issue troubleshooting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Workday Payroll certification (preferred). Experience with global or multi-country payroll environments.Knowledge of labor law compliance and statutory reporting. Experience with Workday integrations and calculated fields. Exposure to Agile project delivery environments. Analytical Thinking Problem Solving Stakeholder Management Attention to Detail End-to-End HR Process Knowledge
