Position Title: Social Media Manager Organization: Ashoka Superspeciality Hospital and Research Pvt Ltd Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Marketing Manager / Director Position Purpose The Social Media Manager will own and drive the hospital's entire digital narrative. Healthcare decisions are deeply emotional; therefore, this role requires a creative storyteller who can humanize our medical team, simplify complex medical procedures into engaging content, manage patient communities with empathy, and run highly targeted, ethical digital campaigns that build trust and drive patient inquiries. Key Responsibilities1. Content Strategy & Multi-Platform Management
- Platform Ownership: Manage and optimize all official social media handles, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google My Business (GMB).
- Content Creation: Conceptualize, write, and produce a monthly content calendar. This includes patient success stories, doctor video bytes, live Q&A; sessions, awareness posts for health days (e.g., World Heart Day), and high-quality reels/shorts.
- Simplifying Medicine: Translate complex medical treatments, infrastructure highlights (e.g., advanced ICU setups, modular OTs), and superspeciality services into layman-friendly, highly engaging visual and textual content. 1. Doctor Branding & Video Production
- Physician Profiles: Collaborate directly with senior consultants and duty doctors to build their individual professional brands online, positioning them as the leading medical experts in the region.
- On-Floor Content Capturing: Step onto the hospital floor (ethically and safely) to capture authentic, behind-the-scenes glimpses of healthcare delivery, patient testimonials, and rapid response emergency highlights. 1. Lead Generation & Performance Marketing
- Targeted Ads: Plan, execute, and monitor localized paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) specifically optimized to drive inquiries for specific specialties, health checkup packages, or upcoming free health camps.
- Conversion Optimization: Ensure all ad spends are aligned with geography-specific targeting to capture patients in tier-2 and tier-3 cities who are seeking advanced superspeciality care in the capital. 1. Reputation Management & Community Engagement
- Review Management: Actively monitor, respond to, and manage patient reviews on Google, Facebook, and other healthcare forums. Ensure negative reviews are handled with extreme professional empathy and immediately escalated to operations for resolution.
- Query Handling: Respond swiftly to direct messages (DMs) and comments, routing potential patient leads directly to the front office or sales coordination team in real-time. Key Skills & Competencies
- Healthcare Empathy & Ethics: A deep understanding of medical ethics, ensuring patient confidentiality (HIPAA/local laws) and consent are strictly maintained across all visual assets.
- Multimedia Production: Hands-on experience with basic graphic design (Canva/Photoshop) and video editing software (Premiere Pro/CapCut) for quick-turnaround reels and shorts.
- Data Analysis: Ability to read platform analytics to measure engagement rates, click-through rates (CTR), and cost-per-lead (CPL), refining the digital strategy based on data rather than guesswork. Job Specifications / Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in Social Media Management or Digital Marketing. Prior experience working with a multi-speciality hospital, healthcare brand, or a specialized digital agency handling medical clients is highly preferred.
- Education: Graduate or Post Graduate in Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating creative campaign design, video storytelling (especially short-form video reels), and successful localized lead generation. Pay: ₹15,000.00
