Head – Production | Solar Panel Manufacturing Industry: Solar PV Module Manufacturing

About the Role Lead end‑to‑end production operations for a high‑capacity Solar PV Module Plant. Drive excellence across module assembly (stringing, lay‑up, lamination, framing, junction box fixing, testing, packing). Ensure productivity, yield improvement, safety, and cost optimization in a rapid‑paced manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities
- Production Operations: Manage complete module manufacturing lines; achieve output targets.
- Manufacturing Excellence: Implement Lean, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, OEE improvement.
- Process & Technology: Support advanced tech (TOPCon, PERC, HJT, bifacial).
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure ISO, IEC, customer standards; drive zero‑defect culture.
- EHS & Safety: Promote zero‑accident culture; ensure statutory compliance.
- Cost Control: Optimize OPEX, consumables, scrap, and wastage.
- Team Leadership: Manage large production teams; build capability and discipline.
- Expansion Projects: Support commissioning of new lines and factory layout planning.

Desired Profile
- Education: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Chemical). MBA Ops preferred.
- Experience: 15–25 years in manufacturing; 8–10 years in leadership roles within Solar PV/Cell/Glass/Semiconductor/Electronics.
- Competencies: Strong knowledge of solar module processes, yield improvement, automation, MES/ERP, Industry 4.0, Lean, TPM, Six Sigma.
