Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Supervisor role based at Tilara Polyplast’s facility in Rajkot. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety norms are consistently met. Responsibilities include planning and executing production schedules, allocating resources and manpower, monitoring machine performance, and coordinating with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and defects. The role involves supervising and guiding production staff, conducting shift briefings, resolving operational issues in real time, and maintaining accurate production records and reports. The Production Supervisor will also support continuous improvement initiatives, enforce standard operating procedures, and collaborate with management to optimize productivity and reduce waste. Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, shift management, and performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in production planning and managing production schedules to meet output and delivery targets.
- Experience in overall production management, including resource allocation, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, reporting to management, and guiding shop floor personnel.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or plastics/polymer processing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safety standards, quality systems (such as ISO), and basic lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
