You'll operate at the intersection of innovation and compassion — where every surgery is a step toward transforming cancer care in India. Role & Responsibilities

- Perform high-complexity oncologic surgeries across GI, breast, head & neck, thoracic, and soft-tissue domains — including robotic-assisted and laparoscopic procedures.
- Lead tumor board discussions to define optimal surgical strategy in alignment with medical oncology, radiology, and pathology teams.
- Develop and refine perioperative protocols to reduce complications, improve recovery timelines, and enhance survival benchmarks.
- Mentor junior surgeons and fellows — delivering structured case reviews, technical feedback, and simulation-based training.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives — contributing to trial design, data collation, and peer-reviewed publication on surgical outcomes.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to implement surgical safety checklists, infection control measures, and surgical volume analytics for quality benchmarking.

Skills & Qualifications

- Must-Have
- DNB/MD/DNB (Surgical Oncology) or equivalent from MCI/NMC-recognized institutions
- Proven experience in performing 150+ major oncologic procedures across 3+ subspecialty domains
- Advanced training in minimally invasive or robotic oncological surgery (Da Vinci preferred)
- Proficiency in intraoperative frozen section interpretation and sentinel lymph node mapping
- Active participation in tumor board protocols and multidisciplinary care pathways
- Experience with clinical audit tools (e.g., NSQIP, surgical complication trackers)
- Current NMC registration with no pending disciplinary actions
- Fluency in English and Hindi (or regional language based on location)
- Preferred
- Membership in ASCO, ISMPO, or ESSO
- Publication record in peer-reviewed surgical oncology journals
- Experience managing clinical trials or institutional QI projects
