Highway Design Engineer (Jharkhand)

Role & responsibilities: Design and develop highway and roadway alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and corridors using Civil 3D and MX Road, and prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and construction plans in line with relevant standards. Perform geometric design for highways, intersections, and interchanges, while supporting DPR preparation, BOQ, and cost estimation. Review survey and topographic data for accurate model integration, ensure compliance with IRC/MoRTH guidelines, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Contribute to design reviews, alignment optimization, and tender documentation, maintain proper design records, and provide technical inputs during client interactions. Preferred candidate profile:
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2-5 years of experience in highway/road design
- Proficient in Civil 3D and MX
- Experience in DPR preparation, BOQ, and quantity estimation
- Ability to interpret survey/topographic data and develop accurate design models
- Valuable coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines
