Title : QA Automation Engineer Location : Remote / Hyderabad (Hybrid)Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated QA Automation Engineer with solid experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks for web and API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright, a valuable grasp of testing best practices, and working knowledge of CI/CD integration and agile processes. This role is suited for someone who takes ownership of quality, communicates well with development teams, and is keen to grow in a product-focused setting.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress or Playwright.• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and regression testing.• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and contribute to test strategies.• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).• Identify, report, and track defects; work with the team to ensure timely resolution.• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to test coverage and release readiness.• Analyse test results and suggest improvements to test coverage and efficiency.• Support performance and compatibility testing initiatives as required.Required Skills• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks using Cypress or Playwright (mandatory).• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for scripting and test development.• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent).• Exposure to CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI).• Familiarity with version control systems (Git / GitHub / Bitbucket).• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or Xray.• Basic exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).• Good analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.• Nice to have: familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) or security testing basics.Required Qualifications• 4 – 7 years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing.If you are interested in this prospect, please share your resume at Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4m00zp
