Logistics Manager (Jharkhand)

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager for our another company Advance graphite materials Pvt.Ltd to oversee and optimise the end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations of raw material and finished goods, across all our facilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating inbound raw material movement, outbound product dispatch, warehousing, fleet management, and vendor negotiations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of natural flake graphite products to domestic and international customers. Role & responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics for graphite ore, processed flake graphite, and finished products across road and sea freight channels.
- Manage warehouse operations including inventory control, stock reconciliation, and safe storage of graphite materials in compliance with handling guidelines.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with transporters, freight forwarders, customs house agents,and third-party logistics providers to optimise costs.
- Ensure timely dispatch of customer orders by coordinating with production, sales, and quality control teams.
- Oversee documentation for domestic and export shipments including invoices, packing lists,bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Track and analyse key logistics KPIs such as transit time, freight cost per tonne, order fulfilment rate, and damage/loss incidents.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, e-way bills, mining transport permits, and export-import documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times, minimise transportation costs,and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Manage and develop a team of logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, and drivers. Qualifications & Experience
- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mining Engineering (preferred). MBA in Supply Chain / Operations Management is a plus.
- experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, preferably in mining, minerals processing, or heavy manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of domestic freight operations, export logistics, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP or similar supply chain management software.
- Valid understanding of GST compliance, e-way bill systems, and transport regulations. Key Skills & Competencies
