Welder / Fitter (Kim)

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Welder / Fitter for an Aluminium Extrusion company at Kim location. The candidate will be responsible for fabrication, fitting, welding, maintenance, and repair work related to extrusion plant machinery, structures, pipelines, and equipment. The role requires knowledge of welding techniques, mechanical fitting, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform welding and fitting activities for plant machinery and equipment. Carry out fabrication, installation, and repair of metal components and structures. Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication layouts. Perform MIG, TIG, Arc, and gas welding as required. Handle maintenance and breakdown activities in extrusion and utility areas. Align, assemble, and fit machine parts accurately using measuring instruments. Operate cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding tools safely. Inspect weld quality and ensure work meets company standards. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area. Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth operations. Follow all safety procedures and use PPE during work. Required Skills Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques. Experience in MIG/TIG/Arc welding. Ability to read engineering drawings and measurements. Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment. Understanding of industrial safety practices. Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in shifts and under production pressure. Preferred Industry Experience Candidates from Aluminium Extrusion, Metal Manufacturing, Fabrication, Engineering, or Industrial Maintenance background will be preferred.
