We are seeking an R&D; Engineer specializing in Material Testing to join our innovative research and development team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in metallographic and material characterization, with expertise in advanced analytical techniques to drive materials research and development initiatives. This role is critical to our mission of advancing material science through rigorous analysis and data-driven insights. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to groundbreaking material science research in a dynamic R&D; setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct metallographic sample preparation and material characterization to evaluate microstructures, phase distributions, and other critical properties.
- Perform coating characterization to assess thickness, composition, uniformity, and performance of coatings on diverse materials.
- Utilize analytical techniques including X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), and Optical Microscopy for comprehensive material analysis.
- Interpret and report findings through detailed technical documentation, highlighting data trends and providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D; and engineering teams, offering technical insights to support material innovation and product development projects.
- Ensure precision and reliability of results by maintaining, calibrating, and optimizing analytical instruments and laboratory procedures.
