- Digital Transformation Services Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and client-focused Enterprise Database Sales Engineer to support pre-sales engineering, solution design, and technical sales activities for enterprise database solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between sales and engineering teams, helping customers design scalable, secure, and high-performance database architectures. You will be responsible for:
- Pre-sales technical consulting
- Database solution design
- Product demonstrations
- Proof of Concept (POC) development
- Enterprise client engagement Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering
- Support enterprise sales teams in database solution positioning
- Understand client requirements and translate them into technical architectures
- Design scalable and secure database solutions
- Support solution sizing, feasibility, and architecture planning Client Engagement & Technical Consulting
- Engage with enterprise clients, CTOs, and technical teams
- Understand database challenges and business requirements
- Provide technical guidance on database architecture and platforms
- Communicate complex technical concepts in business terms Solution Design & Architecture
- Design enterprise database solutions including:
- SQL databases
- NoSQL databases
- Cloud databases
- Hybrid data architectures
- Support data modeling and database optimization strategies
- Recommend best-fit technologies based on client needs Product Demonstration & POC Development
- Deliver technical product demonstrations to clients
- Build Proof of Concept (POC) environments
- Validate database performance, scalability, and reliability
- Demonstrate real-world enterprise use cases RFP / RFI & Proposal Support
- Provide technical inputs for RFPs and RFIs
- Prepare architecture diagrams and solution documents
- Collaborate with sales teams for proposal creation
- Ensure technical accuracy of all proposed solutions Performance & Optimization Advisory
- Advise clients on database performance tuning and scalability
- Support migration and modernization strategies
- Provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency Market & Product Feedback
- Gather client feedback and share insights with product teams
- Analyze competitor database solutions and positioning
- Identify market trends and enterprise needs
- Support product enhancement discussions Required Skills Database & Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Understanding of NoSQL databases:
- MongoDB
- Cassandra (preferred)
- Expertise in:

- High availability and disaster recovery Cloud & Data Platform Knowledge
- Experience with cloud platforms:
