Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with strong hands-on experience in SQL + Informatica and programming knowledge in Java or Python. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines and database solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business data needs and analytics initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views for high performance and scalability. Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Cloud). Integrate and automate data flows between systems using Java or Python for custom scripts and applications. Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems. Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions. Implement performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies for large datasets. Maintain data security, compliance, and documentation of ETL and database processes. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or ETL Developer. Solid proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL). Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud. Programming experience in Java or Python (for automation, data integration, or API handling). Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and performance tuning. Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good to Have: Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting.
