Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled software engineer with robust expertise in C++ and Python, and a passion for leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and automation. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing, maintaining and interfacing with other SW Tools team that support pre-silicon bring-up, validation, post-silicon analysis, and customer-facing utilities in the Embedded Systems domain.

Key Responsibilities: Interface with other Tools team within AMD as well as Design, develop, and maintain software tools for:

Pre-silicon bring-up and validation workflows Post-silicon diagnostics and debug Customer-facing utilities for SoC interaction and analysis Leverage AI Tools to solve problems so as to increase productivity. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and validation teams to understand requirements and deliver robust tooling solutions. Optimize tool performance and usability across diverse platforms and environments. Maintain high code quality through unit testing, documentation, and code reviews. Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and automation pipelines.

Required Skills: Solid programming skills in C++ and Python Experience in developing tools for Embedded Systems or SoC validation Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks for productivity enhancement Valuable understanding of hardware-software interaction, especially in pre/post silicon environments Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
