Design Engineer (Karnataka)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in Creo and Sheet Metal design, along with robust knowledge of GD&T;, Welding Symbols, and Weldments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing components for heavy equipment or construction machinery. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using Creo.
- Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to engineering drawings.
- Create and interpret welding symbols and weldment structures as per industry standards.
- Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and fabrication.
- Work on weldment design and structural assemblies for heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety norms, and client specifications.
- Perform design validation and support prototype development and testing.
- Suggest improvements for design optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Creo (3D modeling & sheet metal modules).
- Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Design principles.
- Expertise in GD&T; standards and drawing interpretation.
- Good understanding of Welding Symbols and Weldments design.
- Experience working with heavy equipment or construction machinery domain.
