Caliper Design Engineer (Karnataka)

Role & responsibilities 1. Good Experience in Concept , Detailed Design, assembly-level designs and Manufacturing drawings. 2. Strong Skills in CAD tool
- CATIA V5. 3. Hands-on experience in caliper sub-components such as Sheet Metal, Forgings, Plastics, and Rubber parts. 4. Experience in GD &T;, Tolerance stack-up analysis and DFMEA, DFM/DFA. 5. Active participation in Design and Drawing Reviews. 6. Experience in weight optimization and cost-effective manufacturability. 7. Positive knowledge in Revers engineering and Benchmarking 8. Design Knowledge of testing fixtures Education & Experience 1. Qualification: B.E / B. TECH
- Mechanical / Automotive 2. Experience: 4-5 Years 1. Specific Technical Qualification/Certification: CAD Software Tool knowledge & VBA Scripting will be added advantage Knowledge and Skills 1. Skills: Concept Design, New Product Design, Design validation, Prototyping & Production Support 2. Tools: CATIA V5, PLM (3D Experience), QA checker, Drawing Comparison. 1. Knowledge : Casting component design (Aluminium & Cast Iron), plastic and sheet metal component design, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and VA/VE engineering. Knowledge of EMB, MoC & Foundation Brake Products and their design Competencies Technical Competencies: 1. 3-4 years of experience in Brake caliper design 2. Working knowledge of CATIA-based FEA for structural validation 3. Good in Packaging Optimization for Caliper Design Mass reduction 4. Good in Engineering Materials, Selection Criteria & Performance Characteristics Non-Technical Competencies: 1. Good Team work. 2. Able to adapt and perform effectively in challenging work environments.. 3. Multi-tasking skills will be added advantage. 4.
