Position: Senior/Lead Engineer- Civil & Structural

Work Location: Bangalore, India

Education: B.E / B. Tech

Experience: 5+ Years of Experience

Job Description: Lead the design and analysis of foundations, steel structures, and concrete structures.

Develop detailed structural engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Prepare and review civil engineering drawings and specifications.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, etc.).

Conduct site investigations, assessments, and feasibility studies.

Oversee the design and detailing of structural components, including supports, frames, and foundations. Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.

Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and constructability reviews.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.

Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities.

Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents and industry standards.

Collaborate with project management to ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks. Proficiency in civil and structural engineering software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).

Solid understanding of civil and structural engineering codes and standards (ACI, AISC, etc.).

Experience in the design of industrial structures, including those in chemical and oil and gas plants. Skilled Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is preferred.
