Civil Engineer (Karnataka)

As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for planning designing and overseeing construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects You will work on a variety of projects ranging from transportation and water systems to buildings and environmental facilities The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams ensuring projects adhere to regulations and standards while meeting client needs Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Design Conduct site investigations to gather relevant data Prepare feasibility reports and cost estimates for projects Develop project specifications and design plans using engineering software Regulatory Compliance Ensure projects comply with local state and federal regulations Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities Construction Oversight Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications Resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to achieve project goals Budget and Resource Management Develop and manage project budgets Monitor and control project costs to ensure financial efficiency Risk Management Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies Client Communication Communicate with clients to understand project requirements Provide regular updates on project progress and address client concerns Team Collaboration Work closely with architects surveyors and other professionals to coordinate project activities Foster a collaborative and positive work environment Quality Assurance Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in project delivery Conduct inspections and tests as needed Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer PE license is desirable 3 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects Skills Proficiency in engineering software AutoCAD Civil 3D etc Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of industry regulations and standards Problem-solving and analytical skills Job Type Full-time Pay 600 000 00
