INTO PROFIT INNOVATION WE VALUE THAT IN YOU Job Title Design Engineer At Sandvik Mining Rock Technology India Pvt Ltd Part of Sandvik Group we offer you a world of opportunities Our diverse businesses and global network enable you to explore your potential and thrive So now we challenge you Think one step further and then take it Job profile As a Design Engineer you are responsible for Design and Development of mining equipment s Create CAD models manufacturing drawings BOM for sub-systems used in mining equipment s The job is about providing engineering support to various Division s within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions in Current Product Engineering New product Development Engineering and Order based Engineering projects The main responsibilities are as follows Collaborate with R D teams to understand their needs and provide creative design solutions Present design concepts progress updates and results clearly to stakeholders across engineering teams Develop a thorough understanding of underground mining equipment assemblies to ensure accurate and efficient design integration Create designs that are simple cost-optimized and engineered to deliver maximum value without compromising quality or functionality Design and modify structural assemblies in accordance with engineering standards and operational requirements Design Sheetmetal Weldment and Machining components with attention to detail manufacturability and durability Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings to support production and ensure accurate fabrication Create and manage hydraulic components in Teamcenter and SAP ensuring all necessary attributes are correctly maintained Create or modify Hydraulic schematics based on the design feedback and system requirements Create and modify Hydraulic components in alignment with schematics and other criteria Required Qualifications Skills You have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field or equivalent and 3-6 years of experience in Design and Development of Heavy Equipment s You have a solid track record of designing developing Mechanical engineering solutions You have the needed experience with relevant we see are some of the followings Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to enable decision making and sharing optimal design solutions Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment In depth understanding of the operating principles of equipment s and system level functions Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and its practical application Skilled in selecting appropriate materials based on application requirements and performance criteria Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes Proficient in reading and creating engineering drawings with appropriate tolerances and GD T Solid knowledge of Hydraulic components and their functions Ability to understand the technical specifications and parameters of Hydraulics components Familiarity with international design standards Hands-on experience in Teamcenter NX and SAP Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers team members and cross-functional units You fit into a dynamic and fast-moving team within a business which has been around You value the opportunity to work with both in-house R D as well as with customers all around the world You possess the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts quickly and focus on priorities The ability to speak and write in English as well as the willingness to travel are prerequisites in this job We are a company with an open-minded culture actively working to create a workplace that is characterized by diversity and inclusion We offer you an interesting role in an international business environment as well as opportunities for your professional development Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4n21d3
