Senior Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and improving pump products with focus on manufacturability, cost optimization, quality compliance, and production support. Experienced in CAD/CAE design, failure analysis, engineering documentation, customer coordination, and ensuring compliance with API/ISO standards.

Role & responsibilities: Develop and implement engineering design strategies for pump products. Ensure cost-effective and manufacturable designs from fabrication and production perspective. Perform detailed analysis of engineering drawings, tolerances, and fitment requirements. Create and modify 2D/3D models using CAD/CAE software tools. Prepare GA drawings, technical documents, and support current customer enquiries. Conduct mechanical design calculations and engineering analysis for product development. Reduce product cost and improve performance through value engineering initiatives. Investigate pump failures and review CAPA/8D reports before customer submission. Coordinate with production, quality, and vendors for manufacturing and technical support. Resolve shop floor issues related to machining, assembly, tolerances, and costing. Prepare and review DFMEA, MTBF, and other engineering documentation. Ensure compliance with API, ISO, customer specifications, and company quality standards. Coordinate customer audits, process audits, and closure of non-conformities. Manage engineering change control, drawing revisions, and technical documentation. Participate in project review meetings with customers, management, and cross-functional teams.
