- Lead design innovation: Spot opportunities in key industries and translate them into compelling concepts to influence customers.
- Visual storytelling: Sketch, render, and model ideas that communicate vision instantly to stakeholders.
- Prototype creation: Build and test tangible solutions that prove the power of SABIC materials using 3D printing / CNC machining.
- CMF exploration: Apply cutting-edge Color, Material, Finish trends to elevate plastics applications.
- Collaborative design: Work with internal designer, application engineers, marketers, and global teams to deliver holistic solutions.
- IP contribution: Shape proprietary designs and contribute to patents that protect innovation. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A master's degree in industrial design or Product Design
- 3
- 6 years of experience in product development
- from concept to commercialization.
- A strong portfolio showcasing industrial design projects, especially with thermoplastics.
- Expertise in sketching, rendering, and CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, Photoshop, Keyshot, Blender).
- Experience in designing for automotive, electronics, healthcare, or infrastructure.
- Hands-on knowledge of prototyping technologies and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical ideas into market-ready solutions.
