Hvac Design Engineer (Karnataka)

Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer Location: Bangalore

Experience: 4+ Years Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with 4+ years of experience in HVAC system design for commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing HVAC design calculations, layouts, equipment selection, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare HVAC load calculations, ventilation calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Design chilled water systems, VRF systems, DX systems, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
- Develop ducting layouts, piping layouts, and schematic drawings.\
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, and structural teams.
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, and local authority standards.
- Support BIM/Revit coordination and review design models.
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions when required.
- Ensure timely delivery of project design deliverables. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in HVAC design engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and design standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, or equivalent HVAC design software.
- Positive understanding of international codes and standards.
- Strong coordination and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial, high-rise, healthcare, or data center projects.
- Exposure to BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
