Website: Job Description We are seeking a talented PCB Design Engineer to join our team. You will turn our circuit designs into production-ready PCBs for humanoid robots, proprietary gripper systems, teleoperation rigs, and egocentric capture devices. Every board you design becomes part of the hardware stack that generates the training data for our foundation model. Responsibilities Design multi-layer PCBs (4 to 12 layers) for motor controllers, sensor boards, and compute modules across our robotics fleet. Layout boards for our proprietary UMI gripper and DexUMI hand electronics. Route high-speed signals (USB 3.0, MIPI, Ethernet, HDMI) with impedance control and signal integrity. Design flex and rigid-flex PCBs for space-constrained gripper assemblies and wearable capture hardware. Manage thermal design and power distribution for high-current motor drive stages in humanoid joints. Run DFM and DFA reviews and coordinate with fabrication and assembly houses for production scaling. Generate complete manufacturing outputs: Gerbers, drill files, assembly drawings, and pick-and-place data. Perform impedance calculations, stack-up design, and signal integrity simulations. Qualifications B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2-4 years of experience with PCB layout on multi-layer boards. Robust understanding of impedance-controlled routing, EMI/EMC mitigation, and power integrity. Experience with high-speed interface layout: USB, Ethernet, MIPI, LVDS. Proficiency in Altium Designer, KiCad, or equivalent EDA tools. Knowledge of mixed-signal layout: analog-digital partitioning, grounding, and isolation. Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and working with PCB fabrication houses. Skills Required Circuit Design PCB Design (multi-layer) PCB Soldering Altium Designer / KiCad High-Speed Signal Routing DFM / DFA Git Preferred Skills Flex and rigid-flex PCB design experience. Motor driver board layout and high-current power stage design. RF layout for wireless technologies: WiFi, BLE, UWB. Thermal simulation and heat dissipation experience. PCB design experience for robotics or wearable devices. Personal Attributes Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, production-ready board designs.
