Design Engineer (Roorkee)

Designation: Design Engineer – Sheet Metal Department: Engineering / Design Location: Roorkee Job Description:
- Responsible for designing sheet metal components as per requirements
- Preparation of 2D drawings using AutoCAD
- Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) in designs
- Ensure design accuracy and feasibility for manufacturing
- Coordinate with production and quality team for smooth execution
- Modify existing designs based on feedback and project needs
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions Skills Required:
- Knowledge of sheet metal design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of geometry and tolerances
- Basic knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, bending, forming)
- Ability to read technical drawings Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 2–5 Years Other Requirements:
