Notice Period: Immediate-15 days Contract: Longterm Contract Work: PAN INDIA Min:10+ Years ## Role Overview The SAP Vertex Consultant (D1) supports the integration and maintenance of Vertex tax solutions within SAP systems. The role ensures accurate tax calculation, compliance, and smooth system operations across finance and logistics processes. Vertex provides certified, end-to-end tax automation for SAP S/4HANA and ECC, centralizing sales, use, and VAT compliance for order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes. Using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or the Vertex SAP Interface Component (SIC), it enables real-time tax calculation, address validation, and exemption certificate management, reducing audit risk and manual workarounds ## Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP–Vertex integration and configuration across FI, SD, and MM modules, ensuring accurate tax determination
- Maintain and update indirect tax configurations (GST, VAT, Sales Use Tax) to meet compliance requirements
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for tax discrepancies
- Assist in implementations, testing (UAT), and enhancements for SAP Vertex solutions
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to gather requirements and resolve system issues ## Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SAP FI/SD/MM and tax configuration
- Exposure to Vertex (O Series or Cloud)
- Understanding of indirect taxation and business processes (O2C, P2P)
