Job Title- Mobile App Developer (Android and Ios) Location- IIT Ropar, Rupnagar, India (onsite) Job Type- Full Time | Contractual | Renewable based on performance Compensation- ₹6-8 Lakhs per Annum (commensurate with qualifications and experience) Tenure- An initial period of appointment will be one year, extendable based on the performance. About ANNAM.AI Foundation ANNAM.AI is a national Centre of Excellence focused on advancing applied Artificial Intelligence (CoE-AI) for public valuable, with a strong emphasis on Indian languages, agriculture, governance and inclusive digital transformation. Hosted at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, the Centre works closely with government ministries, industry partners, start-ups and academic institutions. Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and creative Mobile App Developer who can design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The candidate should have experience in cross-platform or native mobile app development and should be comfortable working closely with product, design, and backend teams to build scalable and user-friendly applications. Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms
· Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams
· Integrate APIs, third-party services, and databases
· Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness
· Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues promptly
· Conduct testing and debugging before deployment
· Publish and maintain apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
· Implement updates, feature enhancements, and app optimizations
· Maintain proper documentation of development processes and code
· Follow best coding practices and security standards Key Skills and Competencies
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
· Experience in mobile app development for both Android and iOS
· Strong knowledge of: o Flutter / React Native (preferred for cross-platform) o OR native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development
· Knowledge of REST APIs and backend integration
· Understanding of Firebase, push notifications, authentication systems, etc.
· Familiarity with Git/version control systems
· Knowledge of app deployment process for Play Store and App Store
· Understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile responsiveness
· Positive problem-solving and communication skills Qualifications & Experience
· Experience with payment gateway integrations
· Knowledge of cloud platforms and analytics tools
· 2–4 years of relevant experience
