Job Description – Automation Engineer

Position: Automation Engineer

Experience: 3–7 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B. Tech / B. E. in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial automation systems.

Hands-on experience with System Houses of Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley, and Rockwell Automation.

Experience in PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, and industrial control systems.

Diagnose and resolve automation-related faults and ensure minimum downtime.

Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for automation systems.

Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.

Support system upgrades, modifications, and automation improvement projects.

Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record maintenance of automation activities.

Follow safety standards and ensure compliance during all maintenance and project activities.

Required Skills:

Robust knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Experience in Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley, and Rockwell Automation platforms.

Understanding of industrial communication protocols and control systems.

Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdown situations efficiently.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Experience in steel, manufacturing, process plant, or heavy industry will be preferred.

Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
