Shift In Charge Rollshop Odisha

Role & responsibilities Supervise day-to-day roll shop activities during the shift.

Ensure proper roll turning, grinding, grooving, and assembly as per production requirements.

Maintain and monitor roll pass design for bar mill operations.

Ensure availability of ready rolls to avoid production delays.

Coordinate with mill operations, maintenance, and quality teams.

Monitor roll consumption, wear, and life cycle for cost optimization.

Maintain proper documentation and shift reports.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and housekeeping practices.

Handle shift manpower and ensure optimal utilization.

Preferred candidate profile Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy or related field.

Hands-on experience in alloy steel rolling Robust knowledge of roll pass design and roll maintenance.

Valuable leadership and team handling skills.
