Position: State / Branch Head Business Development (Wires & Cables)
Company:Client of First Resource
Business: Wires & Cables
Location: Multiple States Across India ( Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Jaipur)
Reporting To: National Sales Head / Business Head – Wires & Cables
Experience Required: 10 Years (Branch Head), 15 Years (State Head)
Our Client is expanding its wires & cables business through a PAN India channel network. The company has an existing cable manufacturing facility in Kolkata and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
coming up at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
Role Purpose
The State / Branch Head will be responsible for establishing and driving business within the assigned state by developing a solid channel sales network and building the state sales organization.
Key Responsibilities Business & Channel Development Develop and expand state-wide channel network through: Dealers Traders Retailers Drive market penetration and revenue growth across the assigned territory. Identify current markets and expand channel footprint. Team Building (Mandatory Deliverable) Build and establish the state sales team structure including: Area Sales Managers Territory Sales Officers Sales Executives Candidate should possess a strong industry network and be capable of bringing in sales personnel through
existing references and contacts. Sales Management Achieve state sales targets and market expansion objectives. Manage channel relationships, collections and market intelligence. Coordinate with internal teams for demand planning and execution.
Candidate Profile Minimum 10 + years experience in Sales / Business Development. Solid experience in Household Wires & Cables industry mandatory. Proven track record in channel sales development and state-level market expansion. Existing dealer / distributor / retailer network preferred. Experience with brands such as Polycab, RR Kabel, KEI, Finolex, Havells, V-Guard, Anchor etc. preferred.Key Success Parameters
