Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager
- Logistics Experience: 6-8 years Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day logistics operations of company own fleet, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Commercial team and customers to ensure smooth logistics flow & dispatch
- Analyze data to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs to bring down below the budget
- Maintain the Logistics costs with approved Budget
- Lead a team of Drivers/Cleaners and ensure timely delivery of products
- Implement and maintain logistics compliances, policies and procedures
- Maintaining the safety checklist for all the vehicles and ensuring the fitness of the vehicle
- Liaising with departments for the licensing, etc -Handling the repair & maintenace of comapny own vehicle Requirements:
- Diploma/MBA in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of experience in logistics management
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Excel
- Should have handled the fleet of 50+ vehicles before Added Advantage
- Knowledge of Indian logistics regulations
- Experience with logistics software like SAP or Oracle The primary function will include Factory but can be asked to oversee the depo operations too. Note
