Power Bi Developer (Odisha)

Role & responsibilities :
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
- Design and implement business-friendly dashboards with strong focus on usability, performance, and visualization standards.
- Gather and understand business requirements and convert them into analytical dashboards and reports.
- Develop data models, relationships, calculated columns, measures, and KPIs using DAX.
- Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query.
- Create reusable datasets, templates, and reporting components.
- Optimize dashboard performance for large datasets and enterprise usage.
- Develop drill-through, bookmarks, slicers, filters, and interactive analytical features.
- Connect Power BI with multiple data sources such as:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- Excel
- APIs
- Azure Data Lake
- Databricks
- SAP BO/SAP HANA
- Ensure data accuracy, report consistency, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and analytics teams for report development and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot dashboard issues, refresh failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support deployment and publishing activities in Power BI Service.
- Manage workspace access, report sharing, and scheduled refresh configurations.
- Prepare technical documentation and user guides for developed dashboards.
- Participate in enhancement requests, production support, and change management activities. Preferred candidate profile
- 34+ years of strong hands-on experience in:
- Microsoft Power BI
- Dashboard Development
- Data Visualization
- DAX
- Power Query
- Solid expertise in
- Interactive dashboard development
- Data modeling
- KPI reporting
- Visualization best practices
- Experience in writing SQL queries and handling relational databases.
- Solid understanding of
