The ideal candidate will possess solid listening skills and the ability to transform spoken content into clear, precise, and easy-to-read subtitles and transcripts. This role is essential for ensuring that our content is accessible and engaging for all audiences. Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Convert spoken content from audio or video into accurate subtitles and transcripts.
- Ensure clarity, readability, and precision in all written content.
- Simplify fast-paced speech into clean, coherent text while maintaining the original message.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Review and edit subtitles and transcripts for accuracy and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in subtitling and transcription. Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in content writing, subtitling, or transcription.
- Solid listening skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent command of the English language, with a focus on clarity and simplicity.
- Familiarity with subtitling tools such as Descript, Aegisub, or similar software is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and language usage.
- Ability to handle fast-paced audio content and deliver high-quality results.
