Role Description We are seeking an experienced and commercially aware Chartered Structural Engineer to lead and coordinate the full design function across a multifaceted precast concrete business. The successful candidate will take ownership of structural engineering delivery, design management, technical compliance, and multidisciplinary coordination across a diverse portfolio of precast and associated construction systems.

This is a senior leadership role requiring robust technical expertise in reinforced and prestressed concrete design, exceptional knowledge of Eurocodes, and the ability to lead design teams from concept through manufacture, erection, and project completion.

The role combines engineering leadership, client engagement, regulatory compliance, and strategic technical oversight to support continued growth and innovation within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Management

Lead and manage the structural design department across multiple precast concrete product lines and projects. Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including structural engineers, CAD/BIM technicians, temporary works designers, manufacturing teams, and external consultants. Oversee project delivery from feasibility and tender stages through detailed design, production, installation, and final completion.
