Product Designer (Salem)

Role Description We're hiring a Product Designer (UI/UX) to own how our games look and feel — every menu, every flow, every tap. You'll shape the player experience from first open to deep engagement, working hand-in-hand with game designers and developers. We care about craft, but we care more about speed and clarity. You should be comfortable designing in the morning and seeing it in-game by evening. Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience designing UI/UX for mobile games — shipped titles strongly preferred
- Strong visual design and illustration skills — you can create icons, badges, in-game assets, and promotional visuals, not just wireframes
- Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) for UI flows, plus Photoshop/Illustrator for asset creation and icon work
- A feel for game-UI aesthetics — personality, depth, and polish, not just clean SaaS screens
- Ability to design intuitive flows for complex systems — lobbies, shops, progression screens, battle passes, social features
- Comfort handing off production-ready assets, sprites, and specs to developers
- Good instincts on information hierarchy, touch targets, and mobile ergonomics
- Understanding of F2P UI patterns — what makes players tap "Buy," complete onboarding, or come back tomorrow
- Ability to move fast without sacrificing quality — you know when to polish and when to ship
- Robust communication skills; able to work async with a small cross-functional team Nice to Have
- Experience designing for competitive/PvP games (ranked lobbies, matchmaking screens, post-match flows)
- Familiarity with Unity UI workflows or Roblox UI development
- Motion design chops — transitions, micro-interactions, feedback animations
- Exposure to player data and the ability to translate retention/conversion metrics into design decisions
