Experience: Minimum 7-8 years of working experience in underground metal mining operations, preferably in chrome ore mines. Qualification: B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering The Successful Candidate:
- Should impart duties as described in MMR 1961.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of equipment specifications, maintenance logs, and operational procedures.
- Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities.
- Ensure all underground machineries comply with safety regulations as per DGMS standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Stay updated with DGMS standards and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
- Work closely with the MDO partner to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Must have experience of working with govt. statutory bodies to obtain equipment permissions meant for underground operations. Desired Attributes:
