Job Description – Desktop Support Engineer Position: Desktop Support Engineer Location: Belpahar, Near Jharsuguda, Odisha Client: TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited Experience: 1–4 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Onsite Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support at the TRL Belpahar plant location. The candidate will be responsible for handling end-user issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, networking, and IT infrastructure support. Key Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops and laptops
- Windows OS installation and software configuration
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Printer, scanner, and peripheral device support
- Handling user account management and password resets
- Providing Outlook / O365 support to end users
- Basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Coordinating with central IT teams for issue resolution
- Managing and updating support tickets within SLA timelines
- Antivirus installation, patch updates, and system health monitoring
- Providing remote and onsite technical assistance to users Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of Windows 10/11 environment
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/IP configuration)
- Understanding of Active Directory and Office 365
- Experience in desktop troubleshooting and IT support
- Strong communication and user-handling skills
