Jr. Civil Engineer (Chevella)

Study structural and architectural drawings to comprehend the foundation. Ensure that excavation is carried out as per design levels and soil conditions. Arrange approved materials such as reinforcement steel, concrete, and Formwork. Oversee the excavations, ensuring correct dimensions and safety measures accordingly. Alignment below and plumb, stability of formwork Check the placement of steel reinforcement against design drawings. Oversee the mixing, pouring, and curing of concrete to ensure quality and durability. Implement measures to prevent water ingress or soil collapse during work. Ensure that work is in conformance with design specifications, project requirements, and codes such as ACI, BS,IS Code. Conduct or witness soil bearing capacity tests, concrete cube tests, and other quality checks. Maintain records of inspections, material approvals, and test results. Update project managers on progress, challenges, and requirements. Ensure proper backfilling around foundations to avoid settlement issues.
