Powertrain-Cooling Engineer (Sangli)

Scope of RoleCooling System and Components like hoses, degas tank, radiator, pumps, valves etcArea of Responsibility- Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time Design and Release engineer for cooling systems.- Responsible for owning cooling commodities – Hoses, Tanks, Heat exchangers, Pumps and Valves.- Liaise with various stakeholders and provide end to end delivery solutions.- Should have a good understanding of vehicle package guideline.- Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required.- Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose cutting-edge solutions.- Good understanding of PCDS and major gateways.Knowledge / Experience – 3 to 10 YearsEssential:- Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of cooling system commodities.- Commodity Ownership- Participate in sourcing process for timely onboarding of suppliers- Coordinate with stakeholders
- Engineering, Finance, Purchase & supplier for BOM management- Timely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of data is produced like CAD, Cost, QAF etc.- Understanding of commodity release & change management- Understanding of Proto & Production BOM- Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills.- Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter.- GD&T; knowledge is a must.- Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Tools
