Scope of RoleCooling System and Components like hoses, degas tank, radiator, pumps, valves etcArea of ResponsibilityCandidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time Design and Release engineer for cooling systems.Responsible for owning cooling commodities – Hoses, Tanks, Heat exchangers, Pumps and Valves.Liaise with various stakeholders and provide end to end delivery solutions.Should have a positive understanding of vehicle package guideline.Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required.Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose cutting-edge solutions.Good understanding of PCDS and major gateways.Knowledge / Experience – 3 to 10 YearsEssential:Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of cooling system commodities.Commodity OwnershipParticipate in sourcing process for timely onboarding of suppliersCoordinate with stakeholders
- Engineering, Finance, Purchase & supplier for BOM managementTimely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of data is produced like CAD, Cost, QAF etc.Understanding of commodity release & change managementUnderstanding of Proto & Production BOMExcellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills.Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter.GD&T; knowledge is a must.Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Tools
