Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hardware Design Engineer located in Pune. The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for hardware development, electronics hardware design, circuit design, hardware design, and hardware architecture. The day-to-day tasks will involve designing and developing hardware solutions for our product lines, collaborating with the development team, and ensuring the quality and performance of the hardware systems.
Qualifications
- BE / BTech -ENTC/Electronics/Instrumentation, BSc / MSc
- Electronics
- Hardware Development, Electronics Hardware Design, and Hardware Design skills
- Circuit Design and Hardware Architecture skills
- Experience in hardware design and development
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in the metrology or automotive industry is a plus
Desired Experience: 1-4 years
Mandatory Skills and Competencies
1. Basic knowledge of PCB design (Schematic, Layout, Gerber )
2. Component selection
3. Knowledge of BJT, MOSFET, OPAMP, Digital Gates, Encoders, SMPS, and Passive Components.
4. Knowledge of 16, and 32-bit controllers, UART, I2C, SPI, and MODBUS Protocol.
5. EMI/EMC requirements described under Industrial and automotive standards, such as IEC 61000, are required.
6. Knowledge of Measurement instruments like Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function generator/ Spectrum Analyser.
Job Description:
1. Requirement analysis and convert it into technical specification of product 2. Deployment of system requirement specification into module level specification (Block Diagram). Designing Analog and Digital Hardware 3. Product BOM creation and Cost calculation. 4. Prepare Test plan to support the integration activity during development and production. 5. Evaluate new chips available on the market 6. Technical Documentation of the project as per requirement for all internal stages. 7. Root cause analysis and preparing lesson learnt.
