Production Engineer (Satara)

Job Summary We are looking for a Production Engineer to manage and improve shop floor production in gearbox manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality, and ensuring smooth machine operations. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily production as per schedule
- Monitor machining, assembly, and production processes
- Ensure production targets are achieved on time
- Maintain product quality and reduce rejection/rework
- Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns
- Optimize manpower and machine utilization
- Maintain production reports (daily/weekly)
- Ensure proper use of raw materials and reduce wastage
- Follow safety rules and maintain discipline on shop floor
- Coordinate with quality and store departments Key Skills Required
- Knowledge of machining, assembly, and gearbox manufacturing
- Basic understanding of drawings and measurements
- Problem-solving skills for production issues
- Team handling and coordination ability
- Knowledge of production planning and process improvement Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical
- Experience: 2–5 years in manufacturing (gearbox/automobile preferred)
- Freshers with robust technical knowledge can be considered (optional) KPI (Performance Measurement)
- Production target achievement (%)
