Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer to manage and improve shop floor production in gearbox manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality, and ensuring smooth machine operations.

Key Responsibilities Plan and execute daily production as per schedule Monitor machining, assembly, and production processes Ensure production targets are achieved on time Maintain product quality and reduce rejection/rework Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns Optimize manpower and machine utilization Maintain production reports (daily/weekly) Ensure proper use of raw materials and reduce wastage Follow safety rules and maintain discipline on shop floor Coordinate with quality and store departments

Key Skills Required Knowledge of machining, assembly, and gearbox manufacturing Basic understanding of drawings and measurements Problem-solving skills for production issues Team handling and coordination ability Knowledge of production planning and process improvement

Eligibility Criteria Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical Experience: 2–5 years in manufacturing (gearbox/automobile preferred) Freshers with robust technical knowledge can be considered (optional)
